Architecture undergraduate program at Akdeniz University has been activated by accepting students with the type of MF-4 points since 2011-2012 academic year under the roof name of the Faculty of Fine Arts. At this stage, while creating the curriculum of the department, stakeholder opinions were taken within the framework of the most up-to-date standards stipulated by the Bologna Process, and these opinions were made into a comprehensive report by the Department Bologna Process Coordination Office. Along with this motivation, an important deficiency was covered and a department providing architectural education was established in Antalya.
The Department of Architecture was transferred to the newly established Faculty of Architecture at our University in 2015. In the 2016-2017 academic year, the Architecture Master's Program at the Institute of Science was activated and accepted its first students. The master's program continues to its works. Conducting the first Architecture Undergraduate program in the city of Antalya, Akdeniz University Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture, ranked high score in the MF-4 score type as a base score in the University Examination and attracted great attention. Departmental quota is increased by the Higher Education Institution in parallel with this interest. Architecture Undergraduate program has started to give graduates since 2014-2015 Academic Year.
As of the Spring Semester of the 2016-2017 academic year, doctoral education has been started to given.
